#1 Choose a VARIETY of outfits:
There are no limits to how many outfits you can have! And its a good idea to include both casual and formal outfits in your senior pictures. You choose a couple and maybe let Mom choose one or two, that way everyone is happy.

#2 Use a variety of COLOR:
Dark colors are great for slimming down the body. But if you only wear black or dark blue your previews will be really drab and boring. When thinking about colors be sure to watch out for to bright of colors. Ex. bright green - if outside it will clash with the greens. Colors that work really well for outdoors: Black, Khaki, Pink, Orange, Navy, Tam, Gold, Burgundy, and Dark Yellow.

#3 Be YOU!
Wear clothes you would normally wear!

Other tips:
Simplicity is the key to a successful senior session.
Coordinate your outfit from head to toe.
Keep the tonal range of clothing in the same group, don't mix lights and darks in the same outfit.
Don't forget to bring your jewelry.
If your in sports bring your helmet and ball, baseball bat, both jerseys, and football pads.
Wear your hair in your regular styles. Guys should NOT have a fresh haircut, but should have a fresh shave!
Make sure your clothes fit and are free of wrinkles.

Props can help to show your personality and record the types of activities you are involved in.
     Musical Instrument
     Vehicle (car/truck/tractor)
Uniform/ball/helmet/shoes/stick/bat the more the better (Sports Equipment)
     Sunglasses

Engagement:

I'm always getting asked "What should we wear?"
Well I'm here to help you out!

#1. Be YOURSELF!
- You and your fiancé are the subjects. So wear what reflects who you are and what you love.
- If you love pink, its the main color in your closet - wear it.
- Whatever it is you love wear it, its those details that really make the photographs tell us about you!

#2 Dress on the same scale.
- If she's wearing jeans and a button down shirt, a tux might not work the best.
- If you are a fashion buff, help your guy find something on the same level.
- Outfit chances are endless! So bring something that is more casual, and something that is more dressy. And remember dark colors are slimming!

#3 Comfort is KEY!
- Keep those "I have to lay down to get these jeans buttoned" in the drawer, and opt for something that lets you move around.
- Make sure you question yourself about those tight fitting articles of clothing that accentuate curves your not best friends with.
- You have a pair of great heels! But you'll be walking a lot for photos, bring a pair of flip flops and put the heels on when you arrive at the spot.

#4 Color is beautiful.
- While hot pink is a fun and pretty color use it as an accent. Too much of a good thing… well you know the rest.
- And, while that polk-a-dot dress is your favorite dress, some designs will take away from what we really want to see -- that's YOU!

#5 COMPLEMENT Each Other!
- Wear clothes that are complementary.
- You don't have to match! If your both wearing blues and greens try varying the shades.
- Plus if your all dolled up its a perfect excuse for a post-date session!
